Altiora Peto and Other Latin Lovers

Altiora peto that's the motto of my alma mater, the University of California, Berkeley. It's a Latin phrase that means "I seek higher things" or "I strive for greater things." It's a pretty lofty goal, but it's one that I think we should all strive for. We should never be satisfied with where we are, we should always be looking for ways to improve ourselves and make our lives better.
Of course, there's more to life than just achieving success. There's also the importance of enjoying the journey and living a meaningful life. But I think that if we all strive to be our best, we'll be more likely to find happiness and fulfillment.
