The Edmonton Oilers defeated the Florida Panthers 8-1 in Game 6 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final on Friday night at Rogers Place.
Sergei Bobrovsky stopped all 32 shots he faced for the shutout, while Carter Verhaeghe scored the game-winning goal. Evan Rodrigues scored a pair of goals and Connor McDavid had a goal and three assists.
The Oilers will now have a chance to clinch the Stanley Cup in Game 7 on Sunday night at FLA Live Arena.
